Unfortunately, I also found myself, like many other highly motivated and intelligent developers, caught in the grip of an insidious addiction: fapping.
Fapping is a slang term for masturbating or ‘wanking’ – a mindless pursuit that not only robbed me of valuable working hours, but was a significant roadblock to unlocking my full potential as a software developer.
I knew I had to break the habit if I had any serious chance of reaching my professional goals, so I began to seriously look at the issue and eventually I found myself starting on a journey of self-discovery that revealed the root causes of my addiction and lack of focus.
